Pick a place on the map, then write your text and choose a capsule design. Once you finish writing and seal it, the capsule is saved at that place.

You can write one at your current location or at a place you've visited on the map. Your location must be verified before you can seal a capsule.

A capsule with no lock can be opened as soon as it's sealed. A locked capsule opens once the date or condition you set is met.

You can edit it freely before sealing. Once sealed, the content can no longer be changed or deleted.

Yes — invite friends while creating a capsule to make a friend capsule that everyone can write in together. Invited friends can join once they accept via a notification, and inviting someone who isn't your friend yet also sends them a friend request.

Everyone can add or edit entries for 60 minutes from when the capsule is created. It seals as soon as every participant has written an entry, or automatically once 60 minutes have passed.

Capsules are always public, so other users can see them on the map and in the archive. The exception is a friend capsule during its 60-minute writing window — only its participants can see it until it's complete, after which it becomes visible to everyone.

Turn on the lock in the writing screen and set the date it should open. You can also add a condition that it only opens at a specific place. The capsule can't be opened until the conditions you set are met.

It unlocks once the date you set while writing it arrives. If you also added a place condition, you'll need to visit that place after the date has passed to open it.

An unlocked capsule opens as soon as it's sealed. A locked one opens once its set date (and place condition, if any) is met. A friend capsule seals and completes once every participant has written an entry, or once 60 minutes have passed since it was created.

Places are selected based on public data such as tourist attractions and landmarks. You can write capsules centered around these places.

When you seal a capsule, your location is automatically verified if you're near that place. You need to allow location permission to verify.

Verification may fail if location permission is off or GPS signal is weak. Please allow location permission in settings and try again outdoors.

It's a collection of the tourist spots shown on the map. Places where you've left a capsule are marked as visited, and you can also see the places you haven't left one at yet.

In the Archive tab, use the visited/unvisited filter to see which places you've written a capsule at and which ones you haven't yet.

You can change your nickname, residence, gender, and age band anytime from the account screen. Setting a profile picture isn't supported.

Go to Account > Settings to check and change notification permission. If you've already denied it, you'll need to allow it directly in your device settings.

Reach out through Account > Support > "Send feedback to the developer," and we'll get back to you after checking.

You can do this from the Delete Account menu at the bottom of Account > Settings. Your account information is deleted and can't be recovered, but capsules you wrote aren't deleted — they stay, anonymized.
